This Kansas City barbecue recipe has been all over the internet and has even been picked up by The New York Times.

The Kansas City Star also picked up the story. It must be something special if the star picks up a story on a barbecue recipe.

The Z-Man Sandwich

The Z-Man Sandwich at Oklahoma Joe's Barbecue in Kansas City. Beef brisket, smoked provolone, and onion rings on a kaiser bun. Heaven. The "Z-Man" is one of Oklahoma Joe's signature sandwiches and a fast growing Kansas City favorite.



I've always been a fan of barbecue. After moving to Kansas City for college, Oklahoma Joe's quickly became my favorite barbecue. Located inside a gas station at 47th and Mission, often with a line wrapped around outside the building, you know it must be good.
